Looking down one of the cellblocks in the Seperate Prison. Each cell is about 5 feet by 8 feet and held one prisoner. The prisoners were not allowed to talk to each other and had to wear a hood over their face whenever they left their cells. If they broke the rules, they were sent to the punishment cell, about 3 feet by 6 feet, with no lights or windows. They had to stay in the cell for 3 days alone, and after that they were allowed out for an hour a day for exercise.
